TriPeaks solitaire
Past dailiesClear all three peaks by playing cards one higher or one lower than the waste card. Long streaks score more, and every deal here can be cleared.
How to play TriPeaks solitaire
How to play
Tap an open card to play it onto the waste when it is one higher or one lower than the waste card, whatever the suit: a 7 or a 9 on an 8. You can also drag it there. Cards turn face up once nothing overlaps them. Clear all 28 cards to win.
Stock and streaks
When nothing fits, tap the stock to turn over a new waste card. That ends your streak. Each card in a streak scores more than the last (10, 20, 30 and so on), each peak top adds 100, and when you clear the board every card left in the stock adds 20.
Levels
In Classic a king and an ace go on each other, so the ranks wrap around. In No wrap they don't, which makes runs harder to keep going.
Tips
Before you play, look for the longest run you can make from the cards already face up. When you can choose, play cards that turn over hidden ones, and save a card that could link two runs together.
Questions
How do you play TriPeaks solitaire?
Play open cards from the three peaks onto the waste pile when they are one rank higher or lower than its top card. Turn over a stock card when you are stuck. You win by clearing all three peaks.
Can a king go on an ace in TriPeaks?
In the Classic level, yes: the ranks wrap around, so a king and an ace go on each other. In the No wrap level they don't.
How is TriPeaks scored?
Each card in a streak scores 10 times its place in the streak, so the fifth card scores 50. Clearing a peak top adds 100, and clearing the board adds 20 for each card left in the stock. Turning a stock card resets the streak.
Is every TriPeaks deal winnable?
No, but every deal here is. Each one was cleared by a solver before it was added, and the solution was checked by a separate rules checker.
Does the hint peek at face-down cards?
No. The hint only looks at the cards that are face up and the waste card, and suggests the play that starts the longest run you can already see.
